Taylor Shuck is a Nashville-based banjoist, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and roots singer-songwriter raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Their playing blends strong technique with feel and musical storytelling, drawing from traditional bluegrass and old-time music while staying open to exploration and new ideas.
They’ve performed on major roots and Americana stages with artists including The War and Treaty and Hackensaw Boys, appearing at festivals, clubs, and theaters across the U.S. and Europe. In addition to touring, they lead their own project and enjoy sharing practical approaches to improvisation, rhythm, and musical communication—helping students build skills they can use in jams, bands, and beyond.
