Camp Bluegrass Pride 2026

Join us on the stunning Oregon coast for a week of music, community, and celebration at the very first Camp Bluegrass Pride from June 21-26, 2026! Nestled in the historic town of Astoria at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts and other locations throughout downtown Astoria, this immersive camp brings together bluegrass lovers of all backgrounds to learn, play, and connect in a joyful, inclusive environment.

Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or refining your stage-ready skills, we’ve got you covered. Our lineup of top-tier instructors include GRAMMY award winning songwriter and musician Melody Walker! The camp features multiple tracks for different proficiency levels in:

  • 🎻 Fiddle

  • 🎸 Guitar

  • 🪕 Banjo

  • 🎤 Voice

  • 🪕 Mandolin

  • 🎻 Upright Bass

  • ✍️ Songwriting

Led by a stellar lineup of instructors who are not only master musicians but also passionate educators, Bluegrass Pride Camp is designed to meet you where you are—and help you grow. Expect hands-on workshops, one-on-one instruction, collaborative jams, nightly concerts, and the kind of camaraderie only music can create.

Bluegrass Pride Camp can’t happen without the help of our incredible community—and we’d love for you to be a part of it! We're currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable volunteers to support various aspects of the camp from June 20–26, 2026 in beautiful Astoria, Oregon. 

Volunteer opportunities include: event set up/breakdown, artist hospitality, marketing & graphic design, planning committee, fundraising, event coordination/logistics.

  • Early Bird Pricing: $550 (with $150 deposit, balance due 4/10/26)
  • Standard Pricing: $650 (with $150 deposit, balance due 4/10/26)
  • Ticket price includes to classes, special events and some evening activities.  Food/drink/lodging not included, but local lodging discounts will be available.
  • Scholarships will be available in Spring 2026.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • You may transfer your registration to someone else up to 2 weeks prior to camp for a $50 fee OR you can roll your tuition until the following year.
    • Cancellation up to one month prior receive full refund minus $100 cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations 3 weeks out, will receive a 75% refund
    • Cancellations 2 weeks out, will receive a 50% refund.
    • Cancellations 1 week out, will receive a 25% refund.
    • No refunds once camp starts.
